What is Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button?
Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button is an alternative method for Perodua owners to request for Perodua Auto Assist assistance through UFirst mobile apps. The feature linked with GPS function to locate your actual location during emergency for our assistance to reach you as quick as possible.
 
Where can I find the SOS Button?
You may find the SOS button in UFirst Mobile app. The app can be downloaded via Apple store (IOS user) and Playstore (Android user). The SOS button resides in UFirst app home screen.
 
How to use the Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button?
The button is easy to use. Firstly, select Perodua Auto Assist from the home screen. Then, select the affected vehicle. You may also enter vehicle detail and contact number manually on the select your vehicle page. Next, select the required type of assistance and click SOS. Our Call Centre will contact you in brief moment to assist you.
 
Is there any service charges for using Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button?
Perodua Total Protect Plus customers entitled for Perodua Auto Assist membership and its benefits. Our member will not be charged for service charges as long as the cost is still within coverage (T&C apply). For non Perodua Auto Assist Member, our call centre will advise you on the service charges price should you proceed with our service.
 
Can SOS Button be used by non Perodua owners and non Perodua Total Protect Plus customers?
Currently our service is restricted to Perodua owners only. For Perodua owners who are non Perodua Total Protect Plus customer may also use our services however service charges apply.
 
What to do if the button not functioning?
Should you encounter any issue while using the Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button, kindly contact us at 1-800-88-5555 for assistance and for our improvement; or you can change to calling using the green button.
 
What to do if there is no internet connection?
Stable internet connection is required to send your GPS and SOS request. Should there is no internet connection, you can still reach Perodua Auto Assist at our toll-free number 1-800-88-5555.
 
What kind of assistance available?
Our Services includes Accident Towing Assistance, Breakdown Towing Assistance and Roadside Assistance for minor repair such as Battery Jump start, Battery and Tyre Replacement, and Fuel Delivery. For more details on our services, you may visit Perodua website at www.perodua.com.my.
 
I'm using my friend or my family member's P2 car. Can I use SOS Button too?
Yes, Perodua Auto Assist SOS Button allow you to key in affected vehicle and your contact details manually before you send us SOS request. We will call the owner for verification.
 
Can I track my SOS history?
Currently we do not have SOS history tracking.
 
Does the app tell the price of service charges?
Currently our SOS feature didn’t have price display. However, our representative will contact and advise you the service charges upon SOS request. Should you have any inquiry, you may call Perodua Auto Assist toll-free hotline number at 1-800-88-5555.
 
What to do if my emergency request not available in SOS Button?
You may directly call Perodua Auto Assist toll-free hotline number at 1-800-88-5555 or simply press green call button in the app for assistance.

I didn’t have Ufirst membership. Can I use the SOS button?
Yes, you may first opt to register to UFirst account or simply select not a member option when using the SOS apps. You will be required to fill your vehicle detail and contact number manually to proceed.
 
."We're sorry, system unable to process the Auto Assist request" appeared. What should I do?
Please ensure your Location Services on your mobile phone is enabled. Should the issue persist, you may reach us at our toll-free hotline 1-800-88-5555 for assistance.
 
How to make cancellation for the SOS Request that was sent?
Should you have change of mind and would like to cancel your request, you may cancel within the UFirst App at Stage 2 (SOS Sent). Click the Cancel Request button to cancel. You may also cancel your request by making a call to our toll-free number 1-800-88-5555, we will assist you immediately.
 
Can I use any mobile phone to access to this function?
For trial period (3 weeks), starting 8 June 2020, only android mobile phone can use this feature. We are working to make it available on IOS soonest possible.
